Kangana Ranaut‘s upcoming biographical drama based on the life of Rani Lakshmibai is just a few days away from its release. The actress along with her team has been busy promoting the film. Unfortunately, the film’s producer Kamal Jain has suffered a heart stroke and is reportedly put on a ventilator. If a report in SpotboyE is anything to go by then, apparently his condition is very critical.
Kamal Jain has co-produced this film alongwith Zee Studios and Kairos Kontent Studios. On Saturday, Jain had taken to Twitter to post about his health. The producer expressed his dismay of falling ill at such a moment when its time to bear the fruits of their(team’s) hard work. Kamal also thanked the entire team of ‘Manikarnika’ and gave his best wishes to everyone.

Dear friends, this certainly is not the best time to be in hospital. Hope to get well soon and enjoy the success of our collective dream & hardwork. My best wishes to all pic.twitter.com/VnYLYxXlJc

The film ‘Manikarnika’ had faced several ups and down ever since it went on the floors. First, its director Krish left the project mid-way as he had committed to other project’s. Then Kangana Ranaut took over the reins as the director and shot for the leftover portion of the film. Later there were issues regarding its shooting budget then clash with several films at the box-office(however now the film will only clash with Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s ‘Thackeray’).
We are praying for the speedy recovery of Kamal and hope that he is out of the hospital before the film’s release. ‘Manikarnika’ is all set to hit the silver screens on January 25, 2019.
