It was ‘Padmaavat’ back then which faced a tough route to get released on the silver screen and then under the radar was Kangana Ranaut-starrer, ‘Manikarnika’. FYI, a caste-based outfit of Rajasthan, Sarva Brahmin Mahasabha, had threatened to disrupt the shooting of ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ for portraying Brahmin Rani Laxmibai in an indecent way.
And now as per a latest development, finally Sarva Brahmin Mahasabha have withdrawn the protest against Kangana’s film. Further, Kamal Jain, producer of the film met the President of Sarva Brahmin Mahasabha and assured the concerned party that no history has been tampered in the making of the film. Post that, the caste-based outfit announced that they have ‘No Objection’ to the film now.
Phew, finally it’s a sign of relief for Kangana Ranaut’s film now.
