Manish Malhotra shares a heart-touching picture from Sridevi’s Chennai prayer meet

Last evening, Sridevi’s daughters Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor left for Chennai for their mother’s prayer meet. Now, fashion designer Manish Malhotra who was extremely close to the actress has shared a picture from the prayer meet which will make you teary-eyed.

Called as the first female superstar of Bollywood, Sridevi breathed her last on Feb 24th in Dubai. The actress who was attending relative Mohit Marwah’s wedding there died due to accidental drowning.

Her mortal remains were brought to India and she was cremated with State honours. Husband Boney Kapoor, along with Anil Kapoor and Manish Malhotra had gone to Haridwar for the 13th day ritual. Today, a prayer meet was held in Chennai as the place was her hometown and many of her South Indian folks couldn’t attend the prayer meet in Mumbai.
