Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Manmarziyaan’ gets a U/A certificate

Anurag Kashyap and the Central Board of Film Certification share a bitter sweet relationship. We all know what happened with ‘Udta Punjab’, the film which was being produced by Kashyap. Since then, things have started getting better for the director and a lot has changed including the CBFC chief. For those who don’t know, Prasoon Joshi replaced Pahlaj Nihalani as the new CBFC chief.

Where most of Anurag Kashyap’s films have been passed with the A certificate, his upcoming film ‘Manmarziyaan’ has been cleared with a U/A certificate. The film starring Abhishek Bachchan, Vicky Kaushal and Taapsee Pannu in the lead, has been cleared with few minor cuts, as per a report in PinkVilla.

In the recent past, we have seen Anurag’s ‘Bombay Velvet’ and ‘Mukkabaaz’ getting the U/A certificate! We are sure Anurag Kashyap will be happy with the certification of his film.

Coming back to ‘Manmarziyaan’, the album of the film has received a positive response from the audience. The songs have been loved by the janta and we are hoping the film is equally loved. The ‘Manmarziyaan’ team is busy with the promotions of the film across various cities and they are making sure that the film is well promoted.

Directed by Anurag Kashyap, produced by Colour Yellow Productions and Phantom Films, and presented by Eros International and Aanand L Rai, ‘Manmarziyaan’, a romantic comedy drama, is all set to release on September 14, 2018.
