‘Margarita with a Straw’ to be screened at IFFPD 2015

Kalki Koechlin-starrer “Margarita with a Straw” will be screened at the first International Film Festival for the Persons with Disabilities (IFFPD) 2015.

The festival opens today at Siri Fort auditorium here, while the film’s screening of the film will be held on December 3.

“I’m so thrilled that this is happening, with the support of govt and with exciting films from everywhere. Disability needs visibility in our country. So sad I can’t be there this time,” Kalki said in a statement.

Directed by Shonali Bose, the disability drama talks about the protagonist’s struggle with the normal activities in her life.
