After Mary Kom, Saina Nehwal to have a biopic soon?

Looks like Saina Nehwal is about to join the league of Mary Kom and Milkha Singh.  Reports almost confirm that Saina’s life will soon be made on a celluloid. Reportedly, ‘Taare Zameen Par’ writer Amol Gupte is helming the project.

The leading lady for the film has not been finalized yet. However, either Alia Bhatt or Deepika Padukone will be getting into Saina’s skin is what we hear!

“How many times have we encountered either a male or a female Indian get No. 1 ranking in a world sport? None – except Saina Nehwal. That makes it different, doesn’t it? It’s a story of a ‘tigress beti‘, ‘princess beti‘ who has set fire to the badminton court with her prowess like no one else before”, Amol Gupte stated, after he caught up with Saina at Hydrabad.

World’s number 2 Badminton player recently took to Twitter and shared a photo of her and Deepika.  She also stated that she was eagerly looking forward to watching her own biopic.

Apart from Saina, a biopic on cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni and a docu-feature on the legend Sachin Tendulkar are soon to hit the screens.
