Fashion designer-actor Masaba Gupta and actor Satyadeep Misra are all set to turn parents and welcome their first child together in the upcoming weeks. The couple – who announced their pregnancy via an Instagram post in April, recently celebrated the pregnancy with close friends and family. On Sunday, Sonam Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor hosted a baby shower for BFF Masaba at their father, actor Anil Kapoor’s home in Mumbai. Scroll down for a glimpse into the celebration.

Yesterday, Sonam Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor hosted an intimate celebration that saw the designer’s close friends, her mom, actress Neena Gupta and father-to-be Satyadeep in attendance. The guest, hosts and mom-to-be took to their Instagram Stories and shared glimpses of what the celebration was like. Lots of pictures of Sonam, Rhea and others from the baby shower of Masaba Gupta were also shared online.

The to-be-mommy looked beautiful and elegant in a maxi light brown gown with matching heels for the celebration. Most of the guests at the baby shower were also spotted in party ensembles in either brown, beige and cream shades. The party decor included golden balloons and lots of white flowers and greenery.

Their stories also gave fans a glimpse into grandmother-to-be Neena Gupta giving a speech at the party. The veteran actress was seen joking about the dressing sense of one of Masaba’s friends as well as Satyadeep’s, who was seen laughing all along. Resharing one of the party pics with Sonam and Rhea, Masaba wrote for her friends, “Best hosts ever… got too lucky…”
