Meezaan J pays tribute to late grandfather Jagdeep with a heartbreaking post

Jaaved Jaaferi’s son Meezaan J paid an emotional tribute to his late grandfather Jagdeep. The young actor took to his Instagram handle to share a major throwback picture with his late grandfather. Meezaan’s caption for the picture will break your heart.

The ‘Malaal’ actor shared his childhood picture where he is sitting in his grandfather Jagdeep’s lap and kissing him on his cheeks. Without relying too much on words, Meezaan simply captioned the picture with a heart and sad face emoji. And that was enough to describe his feelings.

Syed Ishtiaq Ahmed Jafri, popularly known by his stage name Jagdeep breathed his last on July 8 at his Bandra residence. The 81-year-old actor died due to age-related issues. The legendary actor was laid to rest at a cemetery in south Mumbai. His sons Jaaved-Naved and grandson Meezaan performed his last rites.

At the funeral, Jaaved addressing the media, had said, “Due to the situation, we weren’t able to respond to everyone’s messages personally. My father has given 70 years to this industry and we can see all the love that is being showered on him. For all the contribution of my father, I would just request you all to offer a small prayer for the departed soul and for that we all will be very grateful. Thank you.”
