Remember the chartbuster song ‘Kaliyon Ka Chaman’? If yes, then you definitely must be remembering the sultry actress Meghna Naidu who featured in that pop song. Almost two decades later, she is again grabbing all the headlines thanks to her personal life. The actress-dancer recently made a revelation that she has been secretly married for two years.

Taking to her Instagram account, Meghna thanked her friends who knew about her marriage for maintaining the secrecy and respecting her privacy. And for all those who were speculating about her relationship status, the actress wrote, “Here is some news for you !!! I couldn’t have asked for a better life partner, best friend, soul mate… Luis Miguel Reis I am blessed to have you in my life and Thank you for making this beautiful journey of almost 8 years so amazing!”

Meghna married Portuguese tennis player Luis Miguel Reis in 2016. Spilling the beans on why she kept her marriage under wraps, Meghna told Bombay Times that she was enjoying all the privacy and that she isn’t a fan of a big fat wedding. “I am not a huge fan of big weddings, as I feel the bride and groom feel lost at such events. I always felt that special occasions need to be celebrated with special people. My wedding happened exactly the way I had dreamed, ” she told the daily.

Meghna’s social media handle is flooded with pictures of her husband from their vacations. Luis is 10 years older than Meghna and they were introduced by his father. After dating for some time, the couple drifted apart and later when they reconnected, they decided to get married. Now, two years after their marriage, they are all set to marry again as per Christian traditions.

Talking about her Christian wedding, Meghna revealed, “We went to an Aiyappa temple and got married according to Hindu rituals. We also plan to have a Church wedding, sometime next year.”
