Mehreen Pirzada calls off her engagement with Bhavya Bishnoi: It’s a decision that has been taken amicably

Actress Mehreen Pirzada has called off her engagement with Bhavya Bishnoi. The Phillauri actress shared the news on her Instagram handle. Mehreen got engaged to Bhavya in Jaipur on March 12 in a private ceremony that was attended by their family members and close friends.

Mehreen shared a statement where she stated that she and Bhavya have decided not to go ahead with the wedding and the decision has been taken amicably. She also hopes that everyone respects her privacy as it’s a private matter.

“Bhavya Bishnoi and I have decided to break off our engagement and not go ahead with the wedding. It’s a decision that has been taken amicably and in the best interest. With respect in my heart, I would like to say that from now on I have no further association with Bhavya Bishnoi, any of his family members or friends. This is the only statement I will be making regarding this and I hope that everyone respects my privacy as this is a very private matter. Meanwhile, I will continue to work and am looking forwards to giving my best in my future projects and performances,” read Mehreen’s statement.

Mehreen and Bhavya were supposed to get married last year but due to the Coronavirus pandemic, they had to postpone it.

For the unversed, Mehreen is the sister of actor Gurfateh Pirzada. Mehreen had made her Bollywood debut with Anushka Sharma’s production Phillauri.
