Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao are all set to reunite again after their last super hit as well as critically acclaimed film ‘Queen’. Yes, the duo will be seen sharing screen space in ‘Mental Hai Kya‘. The film has been in news ever since its inception. The latest update on the film is that its title has been changed.
After an objection raised by the Indian Psychiatric Society (IPS) regarding the film’s title being derogatory, the makers of the film have finally changed the title. The film is now called ‘Judgementall Hai Kya’.
Confirming the news, the official spokesperson of the film’s production house told Mumbai Mirror, “Given the sensitivity attached to the issue of mental health and the fact that our intention is not to offend or hurt anyone’s sentiments, the makers have decided to change the title to ‘Judgementall Hai Kya’.”
Earlier on Thursday, Kangana talking about the change in her film’s title had said, “There will be a mild, small change in the title of the film. Because they find it a bit too harsh. And we are more than happy to do that. Other than that, there are absolutely no cuts. They were rather thrilled to see the film.”

A member of IPS had sent a letter to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) seeking a change in the title. Later, after CBFC’s intervention, the makers decided to change the title.
Reportedly, there were certain scenes and a song in the film where the word ‘mental’ appears and now changes will be made to them as well. As reported by the tabloid, the film’s title song too is being changed.
Helmed by Prakash Kovelamudi, ‘Judgementall Hai Kya’ is all set to hit the silver screens on July 26.
