‘Mental Hai Kya’ poster lands itself in a soup post launch!

‘Mental Hai Kya’ is an upcoming multi starer movie with Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao in lead roles. The movie is intended to be a lighthearted comedy. But it has landed itself in a soup.

The poster of the film is being criticized by some people just a day after it’s launch. According to them, they feel that the title of the movie is discriminating against people who are waging a war against mental issues.

While one section of the society has taken offense to it, the makers of the film intended it to be a light-hearted comedy. They believe that ‘Mental Hai Kya’ will encourage people to embrace their individuality and distinctiveness.

The makers wish to maintain it as a fact that ‘Mental Hai Kya’ is meant to entertain audiences and it does not intend to offend, discriminate or disregard any person in any manner. It is supposed to be a mainstream entertainer.

The film is being produced by Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Balaji Motion Pictures’.  ‘Mental Hai Kya’ stars Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao. It also stars some other talented artists like Amyra Dastur, Amrita Puri, Jimmy Sheirgill and Shah Rukh Khan. The film is set to hit the silver screens on 21 June 2019.
