‘Mental Hai Kya’: Rangoli rubbishes reports of rift between Kangana Ranaut and Ekta Kapoor

After the epic historical drama ‘Manikarnika’, Kangana Ranaut will be next seen in the psychological thriller ‘Mental Hai Kya’ which is being directed by Prakash Kovelamudi and produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shailesh R Singh. The film was scheduled to hit the theatres in March. However, it’s release date was later pushed.

Buzz suggested that it was done on Kangana’s request as she needed some time off before jumping into the film’s promotions. Interestingly, a recent report claimed that Ekta and Kangana are having creative differences. However, the actress’ sister Rangoli Chandel has slammed all such reports.

The report in question stated that while working on ‘Mental Hai Kya’, Ekta wanted her lead actors to do something more for her film. However, Kangana had a different opinion about the same and this led to a rift between the two. Now slamming this report, Rangoli Chandel took to Twitter and wrote, “Some people spend too much time thinking about Kangana if they invest that much time in themselves they might perhaps become a better person or actor.” She even requested them to stop spreading lies.

Well, hope this puts an end to all the speculations. ‘Mental Hai Kya’ also stars Jimmy Sheirgill and Amyra Dastur in pivotal roles. The film is scheduled to hit the screens on May 24.
