Filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s upcoming next titled ‘Mere Pyare Prime Minister‘ opts for a unique strategy in association with Camlin. In a unique attempt, the team of the movie have teamed up with Kokuyo Camlin and given people a unique opportunity to make their voice heard by sharing their messages/grievances with the Prime Minister of India.
Leading stationary brand Kokuyo Camlin has joined hands with the makers of the film to initiate a campaign asking people to send messages to the Prime Minister via #PMKoChitthi. The campaign will start from 5th March and will accept entries on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. The only criteria is that the letters need to start with “Mere Pyare Prime Minister…” and should be posted on social media with #PMKoChitthi.
The best entries will be picked up by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. The letters will not only be shared with the Prime Minister but also receive movie tickets along with Kokuyo Camlin product hampers.
The story of the movie revolves around 8-year-old Kanhu who lives in a slum of Mumbai and writes a letter to the Prime Minister after an ugly incident happens with his mother. The film features Om Kanojiya, National award-winning actress Anjali Patil, Adarsh Bharti, Syna Anand, Niteesh Wadhwa, Atul Kulkarni, Makarand Deshpande and many others. The music of the film is given by Shankar Ehsaan Loy and lyrics have been given by Gulzar. It’s been written by Manoj Mairta, Hussain Dalal and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra.
Produced by Dr. Jayantilal Gada (Pen) and PVR Cinemas, ‘Mere Pyare Prime Minister’ is all set to release on 15th March 2019.
