#MeToo accused Sajid Khan spotted at Raj Thackeray’s son’s wedding ceremony

Actress Tanushree Dutta took the nation by storm in October last year by starting the #MeToo movement. The actress accused Nana Patekar and others of harassing her on the sets of ‘Horn Ok Pleassss!’ in the year 2008. Soon after Tanushree Dutta alleged Nana Patekar of sexual harassment, several Bollywood celebs including Subhash Ghai, Sajid Khan, Alok Nath were also accused of sexual misconduct.

Likewise, in October last year, actress Saloni Chopra levelled sexual harassment allegations against director Sajid Khan. She had earlier worked as an assistant director with Sajid. Later, the two actresses and a journalist came out to level serious allegations against Sajid. Following these allegations, Sajid, who was working on his next directorial venture ‘Housefull 4’, had to step away from the project.

Later, he was also suspended from the Indian Film and Television Directors Association (IFTDA) for a year. After all this, Sajid Khan almost disappeared and never came into limelight. However, recently he was captured by shutterbugs in Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray’s son, Amit Thackeray’s wedding ceremony.

It is to be noted that Amit Thackeray’s wedding ceremony was held in Mumbai’s St Regis and a number of dignitaries from the political world as well celebrities have begun pouring in to attend the celebrations.

Sajid Khan was amongst them to attend Amit Thackeray’s wedding ceremony. Sajid graced the wedding ceremony dressed in a black kurta-pyjama and blackish blue Nehru jacket.

Though the #MeToo movement has been slowing down in recent times and losing momentum, it has raised a very important and pertinent issue about women safety.
