#MeToo: Music composer Sachin-Jigar’s accused of sexual misconduct by anonymous singer

After music-composer Anu Malik and singer Kailash Kher were accused by several women of sexual misconduct, the latest musicians whose names have been outed are Sachin-Jigar (Sachin Sanghvi and Jigar Saraiya). They are known for composing the soundtrack of films like ‘ABCD 2’, ‘ Badlapur’ and ‘Stree’ to name a few.

A playback singer, on condition of anonymity, shared her #MeToo story with Bombay Times. She accused the singers of harassing her. She said that despite being uncomfortable, they would make moves and pass comments on her. She went on to add that sometimes Jigar would call requesting her to meet him. Once in a recording studio, Jigar even tried kissing her saying, “Whenever I see you, I feel like grabbing you and this doesn’t happen with everyone”

She even accused Sachin of making lewd comments and said that Jigar had once even suggested a threesome with her. Post their disgusting behaviour, the singer never went back to work with them. She called Jigar a hypocrite as he tries to maintain his happily married man image on social media by posting pictures of his wife and son.

We wonder what Sachin and Jigar have to say about these allegations. So far, they haven’t responded on this anonymous singer’s accusations.
