Mia Khalifa schooled by netizens for asking Priyanka Chopra to speak up on farmers’ protests

Mia Khalifa taking a dig at Priyanka Chopra asked why she is silent on the ongoing farmers’ protests in India. Mia wrote in her tweet that she wonders if ‘Mrs Jonas will chime in at any point’ and that it gives her ‘Shakira during the Beirut devastation vibes’. Mia might not be aware that Priyanka had already spoken about the farmers’ protest in December last year. Fans of the actress came in support of her and wrote that she had tweeted about it.

“Is Mrs. Jonas going to chime in at any point? I’m just curious. This is very much giving me shakira during the Beirut devastation vibes. Silence,” Mia tweeted.

In December, Priyanka quoted Diljit Dosanjh’s tweet on farmers’ protest and wrote, “Our farmers are India’s Food Soldiers. Their fears need to be allayed. Their hopes need to be met. As a thriving democracy, we must ensure that this crises is resolved sooner than later(sic)”.
