Mika Singh recreates his hit song ‘Sawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag’ twice in one month

Mika Singh had sung a superhit song back in 1998 called ‘Sawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag’ and it has got people dancing to it even now. He has recreated this song now twice for two films in less than a month. Ok, let that sink in first. He has recreated that song for the Kiara Advani and Aditya Seal starrer ‘Indoo Ki Jawaani’ and Yami Gautam and Vikrant Massey starrer ‘Ginny Weds Sunny’.

We spoke to Mika and here is what he has to say about the recreation, “The song for Ginny weds Sunny has got some of the biggest names coming together. Me, Badshah and Neha are in the song and it has Yami and Vikrant. It can’t get bigger and the other recreation is equally important as Kiara and Aditya are nailing that as well.

He further added, “It’s a trend no one has done that is recreating one song in two movies in a month. That’s a first. People said to me initially that it’s a bad idea. I like doing bad ideas first. I think it will help both the wonderful movies and some big names coming for a legendary song. This is one song that the country remembers. The more the better than.”

That was typical of Mika. He lives his life by his sleeves and donnes his stardom by his hat. We congratulate him on the mega recreations and we are all excited for the movies now that the songs are out.
