Milind Soman shows his support to Akshay Kumar after he steps down from pan masala brand

Actor Akshay Kumar took everyone by surprise when he released an official statement mentioning that he has stepped down as the brand ambassador of a pan masala brand. Fans were elated to see Akshay taking the step of actually disassociating himself from the brand. Now, Milind Soman who himself is a huge preacher of fitness and a healthy lifestyle gave a thumbs up to the Sooryavanshi actor for making the right choice. Just recently, Milind took to his Twitter handle and tweeted, “@akshaykumar you made the right choice, whatever the reason!”

Talking about Akshay and his statement, he also mentioned that he will contribute the endorsement fee to a worthy cause. Furthermore, Akshay Kumar also mentioned that since the brand is going to continue airing due to the legal contract, he promises to be extremely mindful about his future choices.

Akshay Kumar’s statement read, “I am sorry. I would like to apologise to you, all my fans and well-wishers. Your reaction over the past few days has deeply affected me. While I have not and will not endorse tobacco, I respect the outpouring of your feelings in light of my association with Vimal Elaichi. With all humility, I step back. I have decided to contribute the entire endorsement fee towards a worthy cause. The brand might continue airing the ads till the legal duration of the contract that is binding upon me, but I promise to be extremely mindful in making my future choices. In return, I shall forever continue to ask for your love and wishes.”
