MIM chief Owaisi lashes out at Salman Khan

Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen president Asaduddin Owaisi, recently lashed out at Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.The MIM chief was addressing a public meeting in Hussaini Tekri in Indira Nagar. Owaisi while campaigning for the Bandra East by-polls that will be taking place on 11th of April tore into into the Dabangg Khan.

Owaisi, refrained from taking the actors name said, “He was driving under the influence and drove onto the footpath and into people. These were poor people. He then said that it was not him who was driving. That it was somebody else. How many more poor people must die?”

This is not the first time that Owaisi, has picked a bone with the actor. Even before the Parliamentary elections while addressing a public meeting in Hyderabad, The MIM chief had made fun of Salman Khan for flying kites with the then Bharatiya Janata Party prime ministerial candidate and current Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Owaisi had ridiculed Salman Khan by calling him a “nachne gaane waala”. He had even and equated The Kick actor to Salman Rushdie, author of the controversial book ‘Satanic Verses’.
