Mira Rajput and Shahid Kapoor

Shahid Kapoor’s wife Mira Rajput is almost always in the news, be it for a good reason or a bad one. There has always been a curiosity around her, ever since Bollywood’s most eligible bachelor had announced that he is going to tie the knot with her.

Mira also came under the scanner this year, when on the occasion of Mother’s Day, she made that infamous ‘puppy’ remark, wherein she inadvertently asserted that working woman are not attentive towards their kids, making not just working moms, but pet moms furious as well. However, now that all that is gone and forgotten, today, we have something different to tell you.

Did you know what she wanted to be when she was in school? A doctor! (Also Read: Mira Rajput brings forth the ‘puppy’ remark again, justifies her stance)

Sounds quite geeky, right? But what made her change her mind? Speaking on the same to Hindustan Times, Mira said, “I have done a few things when I was in school and college. I’ve also done several internships. I worked in advertising, too. Initially, I wanted to be a doctor and I even did an internship at a hospital. I was determined to become a surgeon and even saw 13-14 surgeries. But then, I realised that it required a lot of study.”

Haha! That is so relatable. Changing a field because it required a lot of labour. However, everyone is destined to be somewhere eventually, and though Mira is a young mom right now and married to one of the most sought after actors of Bollywood, she is quite keen on making a name for herself, once her baby daughter Misha grows up.

Well, that was quite a revelation. We bet there were so many of us who wanted to be a doctor when young, but changed our minds and preferences later on.

On work front, her hubby Shahid Kapoor is currently busy with the shoot of his upcoming movie ‘Padmavati’, where he is essaying the role of Raja Rawal Ratan Singh. The movie is helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and also stars Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone.
