‘Mission Mangal’s new promo ‘celebrates the women of India who make dreams come true’

The makers of ‘Mission Mangal’ have released a new promo which features all the women in the movie. In the promo, we hear Akshay Kumar reciting a poem. He says, “Mangalsutra gale mein hai aur Mangal pe hai nazar gadi. Bharat ki beti ki udaan kal sara jag dohrayega, yeh sindoor dur tak jayega…”

Sharing the promo, Akshay wrote, “Jitna uncha ho asmaan, yeh sindoor utni door tak jaega!”

‘Mission Mangal’ stars Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, Nithya Menen and Sharman Joshi in pivotal roles. It is based on ISRO’s (Indian Space Research Organisation) Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM). It was launched on November 5, 2013. Akshay is playing a senior scientist in the movie who encourages the women scientists for the launch of Mangalyaan.

The trailer released a few days back and it has received a positive response from all across the country.

Produced by R Balki and Akshay Kumar, ‘Mission Mangal’ has been helmed by Jagan Shakti. Apart from being entertaining, the movie also promises to be inspiring. It is slated to hit the silver screens in Independence Day i.e August 15, 2019.
