Mission Raniganj teaser: Akshay Kumar starrer promises an epic tale of heroism

Akshay Kumar has associated himself with many untold, gripping stories of valour and determination through his career. He adds another one to that list with Pooja Entertainment’s Mission Raniganj. After launching the motion poster of the film on Wednesday, Akshay Kumar unveiled the Mission Raniganj teaser on Thursday.

The teaser of Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue is nothing short of grand and spectacular. The impressive teaser has sent ripples of excitement throughout the audience. It sees Akshay play the real life character of Jaswant Singh Gill. During an incident at the coal mines in Raniganj in November 1989, Gill rescued over 300 coal miners stuck in the mine. The film brings forward that heroic tale with Akshay at the forefront.

The teaser gives a glimpse into the incident of the coal mine in Raniganj getting flooded. Over 300 coal miners got trapped in there. But when all hope was lost, Gill comes out determined to rescue every living soul trapped down there. The incident is documented to be the world’s largest and successful rescue mission against all odds. And the teaser brings the emotions out very effectively.

You see the heroism of Gill in Akshay while also feeling the fear of the miners. The visual appeal of the teaser makes it all the more intriguing. The film promises an epic tale of heroism. Apart from Akshay, the film also features Parineeti Chopra along with an ensemble cast. Mission Raniganj is a Pooja Entertainment Production. Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh and Ajay Kapoor are the producers of the film. It also marks the directorial return of Tinu Suresh Desai. The coal mine accident that shook the nation and the world will release in theaters on October 6, 2023.
