Mithoon on MX Player’s show ‘Times of Music’: It’s about the music and the musicians and that’s something really exciting

MX Player has come up with their new show ‘Times of Music’ which brings together 20 legendary composers, who will rewrite history and reinvent each other’s most celebrated tunes. Mithoon is one of the composers on the show.

When asked what made him say ‘yes’  to the show, Mithoon said, “Dignity and respect have always been a priority for me in my life. That is something that I have always pursued in my life. When these people came to me, what I loved about the part was that the kind of respect every composer would be giving each other, where you sit across the table and you discuss music, you talk about songs and these songs are not irrelevant, they are part of people’s lives.”

He further said, “I really liked what Palash Sen said during the press conference, he said that we don’t need an actor to promote the show and it’s good to be in this environment where it’s only about music and spoken by musicians. So we love our actors, we also need them and they are a part of the entire process of communication but in this particular sphere it’s about the music and the musicians and that’s something really exciting.”
