Actor Navtej Hundal, who was last seen in Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam starrer ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’, took his last breath on April 8. In the movie, he played the role of the home minister of India. Mohit Raina, who was also seen in the war drama, expressed his grief at the sudden demise of the actor. While talking exclusively to SpotboyE, Mohit has given his condolences for Mr. Hundal.
Mohit is currently in Himachal Pradesh where he is shooting for his upcoming web series. Expressing his grief, Mohit said, “That’s really sad news. I never got a chance to interact much. But this loss to his family is irreplaceable. I hope they find strength and courage to deal with it.”
The news of Navtej Hundal’s death was confirmed by Cine and TV Artiste’s Association (CINTAA) on Twitter. Here’s the tweet.

A source also revealed to the entertainment portal that Navtej was hospitalised for the past one week as he was getting treated for Hepatitis B.
Hundal appeared in movies like ‘Khalnayak’, ‘Tere Mere Sapne’ and ‘The Whispers’.
He is survived by his wife and two daughters. One of his daughters, Avantika Hundal is a popular television actress who is playing the role of Mihika in the daily soap ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’.
