Mohit Raina, who catapulted to stardom with his role as Lord Shiva in Devon Ke Dev Mahadev will soon feature in Amazon Prime Video’s Mumbai Diaries 26/11. The actor, who is playing the role of a doctor in the show, opened up on several topics in an interview with Bollywood Bubble. He commented on topics right from the battle of labels to how OTT platforms put everyone on equal footing to his break up with Mouni Roy.
He blushed when he was asked about Priyanka Chopra’s mom’s famous comment when she said she ‘wanted a son in law like Mohit’. For the unversed, years ago, Priyanka Chopra’s mother Madhu Chopra said that she wanted her daughter to get married to Raina and we asked Mohit’s reaction to the same. The actor said, “I was speechless then and I am speechless now/ I don’t know how to react to this. When asked if someone pulls your leg even now, to which he said, “No it does not happen right now as it has been quite some time. And I think it was blown out of proportion. However, it was a sweet gesture.”
