Television sensation and handsome hunk Mohit Raina is all set to make his Bollywood debut with Aditya Dhar’s action drama ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’. In the film, Mohit will be seen playing Captain Karan Kashyap. The actor was gearing up for his silver screen debut since a long time and when ‘Uri’ came his way, he grabbed the opportunity with both hands.
Mohit has always been fascinated by the Indian Army since he hails from Kashmir and has grown up around the Indian Army. The actor underwent severe training in order to get the nuance of his character right. In an interview to Mumbai Mirror, Mohit revealed that he wanted to join the Army but missed out because he is short-sighted.
When asked about which role he would like to do after ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’, Raina said that he would love to play hockey legend Dhanraj Pillay in his biopic. Well, going by the current trend of making biopics, we hope that some filmmaker is reading this and they cast our handsome hunk Mohit in Pillay’s biopic. The actor will make for a great hockey player onscreen. Don’t you guys agree with us?
Mohit’s debut film ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ will hit the silver screens on January 11. The film stars Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam in lead roles. After seeing the gripping trailer of this action-drama, we are eagerly looking forward to watching the film.
