Monica Dogra off to Mt. Madonna in search of ‘peace’

After a year of juggling between films, music, judging a reality show, and fashion, actress-singer Monica Dogra has decided to take a breather before going back to her schedule. She has taken off to Mount Madonna in California with her ‘guru’, who she met in the US five years ago.

Monica will be in the hills for the next 15 days, and will cut off from all her social media handles, internet, phone and any such distractions.

“I am going to Mount Madonna because this whole year has been about going within for me. I have had a really difficult year. I connected with my Swami about five years ago and I feel ready to be one of his students,” Monica said in a statement.

“My plan is to be in complete silence studying the Himalayan Art of Meditation. I hope to come out with peace of mind and a head start on my own personal discipline,” she added.

This year, Monica not only make new music, but she was also part of Colors Infinity’s “The Stage”. She was also seen in a film titled “The Spectacular Jihad of Taz Rahim”.
