Sridevi opens up on daughter Jhanvi following Ranbir Kapoor around at a party

Sridevi’s daughter Jhanvi Kapoor is all set to enter the world of showbiz. She is going to make her Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s film and we can’t wait to see her on the big screen. We often spot her at Bollywood parties and we can’t stop gushing over her beauty. But with all the glamour and fame, come a share of controversies too, and Jhanvi is no exception to this. Even before starting with her debut film, Jhanvi became a favourite of gossip mongers. Grapevine suggested that at a recent party Jhanvi was following Ranbir Kapoor all around and apparently crushing on him. So how did mommy Sridevi react to this? In her latest interview, Sridevi spoke about this incident.

Speaking to Mumbai Mirror, the veteran actress revealed that this bit of news did upset her daughter but then it is a part and parcel of this industry. She revealed how Jhanvi reacted as she said, “’But mummy, I was with Gauri aunty (Gauri Shinde, director of ‘English Vinglish’),’ Jhanvi protested and I told her, ‘Welcome to my world, if you want to be a part of it, you have to be prepared for all this.’”
