Mouni Roy spills the beans about her ‘Brahmastra’ character

Television actress Mouni Roy has come a long way. I mean, look at the number of Bollywood movies she has in her kitty. From making her debut with Akshay Kumar’s sports drama ‘Gold’, sharing screen space with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in ‘Brahmastra’ to romancing Rajkummar Rao and John Abraham in ‘Made In China’ and ‘Rome Akbar Aur Walter’ respectively, Mouni has left us awestruck. The ‘Naagin’ actress, who recently returned from her Bulgaria schedule of ‘Brahmastra’ shoot, spoke to Mumbai Mirror about her character, co-stars and the experience on the sets.

Speaking about her character in ‘Brahmastra’, Roy said, “While I can’t reveal much about my character, I can say that I am the only villain of the Ranbir film.” When asked about Ranbir and Alia’s chemistry, the actress said that they are like fire on-screen.

Moving on to how she felt while working with megastar Amitabh Bachchan, she said,” It was surreal. I was like this little puppy who was just excited to see him and didn’t know what to do and after giving a shot with him I could have happily died. Who would have imagined that a girl from Cooch Behar would be sharing the screen with Amitabh Bachchan.”
