Mouni Roy Wedding: Smriti Irani pens a heartfelt note, says, ‘May all the Gods be kind and bless her’

Actress Mouni Roy tied the knot with Suraj Nambiar in Goa on January 27. The pre-wedding festivities began on January 26 and now Mouni and Suraj’s pictures as a bride and groom are out and they have gone viral on social media. Congratulatory messages are pouring in for the newlyweds on social media. Mouni’s Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi co-star Smriti Irani penned a heartfelt note to wish her on her big day.

Sharing a couple of pics from Mouni’s wedding, the Union Minister wrote, “This girl came into my life 17 years ago .. they claimed she was a novice then but such was her wisdom that she brought warmth & much joy along with the life lessons she infused amongst those who are lucky to have her as a friend , as family . Today she begins a new journey. May all the Gods be kind and bless her with happiness, prosperity and good health.. for the boy.. well you are one hell of a lucky man .. God bless @nambiar13 .. love you @imouniroy ❤️??(sic)”. In one of the photos, Suraj was seen tying mangalsutra to Mouni and the other pic is the solo one of the Naagin actress.

Smriti and Mouni have been sharing a special bond since Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Mouni played Krishna Tulsi, Smriti’s on-screen daughter-in-law. She became a household name since then.

For the wedding, Mouni Roy wore a white saree with red and gold embroidery and a contrasting red blouse. As it was a South Indian wedding, she wore traditional South Indian jewellery. She looked gorgeous in her look as a bride. Suraj was in a beige kurta and white traditional dhoti.
