‘Mr. India 2’ is definitely on, confirms Sridevi

Actress Sridevi who mesmerised the audiences with her fabulous performance in ‘Mr India’ has now confirmed the sequel of the film. Yes, speaking to Bombay Times she said, “Would I like to make ‘Mr. India 2’? Yes, I would love to. I am itching to make a few more films like that.” She further says, “It is too early to talk about it, but ‘Mr. India 2’ is definitely on, because wherever we go, we are always asked about it, and it’s very rare to see such eagerness for a sequel. ‘Mr .India 2’ will happen… I want Boneyji to make it. And I think he will do it. The story isn’t finalised yet, so it hasn’t reached a stage where we can say anything more about it.”

We are equally eager for the second part and we would be even more happier if Sridevi teams up with the original Mr India, Anil Kapoor, for the sequel. Nobody could pull of the act as well as he did. We truly hope that Mr Kapoor is back for the sequel with Sridevi.

Talking about their upcoming projects, Sridevi will be seen in ‘MOM’ which releases on July 7 while Anil Kapoor will be seen in ‘Mubarakan’ which releases on July 28, 2017.
