Director Umesh Shukla, known for films like OMG and 102 Not Out is all set to treat the audiences with his next family entertainer, Aankh Micholi starring Mrunal Thakur and Abhimanyu Dassani in lead roles. The film boasts of an ensemble cast featuring Paresh Rawal, Sharman Joshi, Divya Dutta, Abhishek Banerjee, Darshan Jariwala, Grusha Kapoor, and Vijay Raaz amongst others. Sharing the first look, the makers have finally revealed the release date of the film.

The team dropped the first look poster of the film announcing the release date. It is all set to hit the theatres on October 27. The quirky poster features the whole cast amidst the backdrop of a wedding home. The team shared the poster on their social media handles. They wrote inn caption, “The director who brought you ‘Oh My God’ and ‘102 Not Out’ @umesh_shukla_official is back to steal your hearts! Presenting, the poster of ‘Aankh Micholi’ – a delightful family entertainer movie that promises a riot of laughter!”

About the film

The comic caper is staged around an Indian wedding. It showcases the madness of two mismatched families and their crazy shenanigans which will take you on a joyous journey of laughter, drama, and emotions.

Speaking about the upcoming film, director Umesh Shukla said in a statement, “We’ve given our heart and soul to this film and the fact that we see it coming to theatres is the biggest blessing and joy any filmmaker can have.
