Mrunal Thakur reveals she was once ‘madly in love’ with THIS handsome cricketer

Actress Mrunal Thakur is busy carving her niche in the Hindi film industry. She was last seen in the film Toofan and is achieving new heights on the professional front. While Mrunal is loved by her massive fan base, there is one such celebrity she was ‘madly in love’ with at one point in time. The actress revealed whom she was ‘madly in love’ with recently. Mrunal Thakur opened up about the same and shared the details in an interview. 

Speaking with ETimes, the Toofan actress talked about her love for cricket and credited her brother for it. She even recalled watching a live match with him and cheering for Team India. 

Mrunal said she was once ‘madly in love’ with Indian cricket team skipper, Virat Kohli. She said, “There was a time when I was madly in love with Virat Kohli.” 

The actress added, “I started liking cricket because of my brother who’s a big fan. I have fond memories of watching a match live at a stadium with him around five years ago. I remember I was wearing a blue jersey and cheering for team India. Cut to today, I am part of a cricket-based film like Jersey. It is such a happy coincidence.”

On the work front, Mrunal is all set to feature in the film Jersey, opposite Shahid Kapoor. It is directed by filmmaker Gowtam Tinnanuri and is expected to release this Diwali. She has a number of films in the pipeline. The actress has Aankh Micholi directed by Umesh Shukla. The film stars Paresh Rawal, Sharman Joshi, and Abhimanyu Dasani as well.
