Mrunal Thakur tests COVID positive, Jersey actress shares a health update

Mrunal Thakur has tested COVID positive. The Jersey actress took to her Instagram to inform everyone. She shared an update on her health and informed everyone about the same. Thakur informed that she has tested positive for COVID. She mentioned that she has mild symptoms but is feeling ok. Mrunal Thakur, who has tested COVID positive mentioned that she has isolated herself. The Jersey actress further mentioned that she is following the protocols given by her doctor.

Taking to her Instagram stories, Mrunal Thakur penned a note. She wrote, “I have tested positive for Covid-19. As of today, I have mild symptoms but I’m feeling ok and have isolated myself. I am following the protocol given by my doctor and health professionals (sic).”

Earlier, on Instagram, Mrunal shared a note that gave an update about her upcoming Jersey, that was scheduled to release in theatres on December 31. However, the Jersey release date was postponed until further notice, amid the rising cases of COVID-19 in the country.

Shahid Kapoor had shared the note that read: “In view of the current circumstances and new Covid guidelines, we as a team feel it is prudent to postpone the release of Jersey. We will see you with our film as soon as we can in 2022. Wishing everyone a happy and healthy New Year. (sic).” The actor had shared the statement on his Twitter handle.

Meanwhile, Jersey stars Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur. The film features the actors in lead roles. The movie is directed by Gowtham Tinnanuri and is a remake of the 2019 Telugu film of the same title.

On the work front, Thakur was last seen in the film Dhamaka. The movie also featured actor Kartik Aaryan.
