Titli and Mukti Bhawan actor Lalit Behl passed away. Reportedly, he died of Covid. His Mukti Bhawan co-star Adil Hussain confirmed the news on his Twitter handle and mourned his death. Behl played the role of Adil’s on-screen father in Mukti Bhawan. He is “extremely saddened by the demise of one of my dearest and most respected Co-actors”.

Actor Ranvir Shorey is also shattered to hear the news of his demise. He tweeted, “Shattered to read this. So many memories. He was warm and affectionate and wise. Learnt so much from him. Heartfelt condolences to the family,

Lalit Behl is survived by his wife, actor Navnindra Behl, his son Kanu Behl, daughter-in-law, music composer Sneha Khanwalkar and their son Dunya.
For the unversed, apart from an actor, Lalit Behl was also a director and producer and he directed many shows in his career span. He also starred in the web series Made In Heaven and Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao starrer Judgementall Hai Kya.
