Ever since she has stepped inside the sets of Rohit Shetty’s ‘Golmaal Again’, it has been a pure fangirl time for Parineeti Chopra. In an earlier interaction with the press, she revealed how it was a feeling of ecstasy to be a part of Bollywood’s largest franchise.
The film features Parineeti with some of the finest performers of the industry, including Ajay Devgn and Arshad Warsi. To many of the young actors, such a multi-starrer with an ensemble cast would come across as an added pressure. For Pari, however, it is the other way.
The actress believes, presence of many actors simplifies your work. You don’t have to carry the film on your shoulder alone, hence you can just  concentrate on your own character. (Also Read: Parineeti Chopra reveals how she became friends with Sania Mirza)
“Sometimes you feel less pressure as you know there are so many stars in the film. It’s not you who is carrying the weight of the film on your shoulders. You can just concentrate on what you have to do and have fun with it,” Parineeti told PTI.
She further added, “It is my first multi-starrer. I got to know you can be in the frame with six-seven characters. The number can also go up to 10-15 till the climax. It was very different as I have mostly worked with one-two co-stars in one go. Also, a film like ‘Golmaal’ requires different acting and dialogue delivery. I learnt a lot.”
Although there are some superhit franchises in Bollywood that never fail to bring bags full of money, no film in past hs reached its fourth edition. The ‘Golmaal’ franchise, that way, is special indeed!
Also starring Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Kemmu and Johnny Lever among others, the film is set to release on October 20, 2017. Can’t wait for it to tickle our funny bones again!
