Amidst cancer treatment, Nafisa Ali welcomes New Year in Goa with family

Indian actress Nafisa Ali, who had shocked the entire nation last year, announced that she has been diagnosed with high-grade cancer. Nafisa had taken to Instagram and posted a photo of herself alongside UPA chairperson and her close friend Sonia Gandhi, who wished her good luck and prayed for her quick recovery.

Soon after she made the shocking announcement on photo and video sharing application, her account was flooded with messages praying for her early recovery. But, Nafisa turned out to be a fighter and said that she will fight from this deadly disease for her children.

Taking to Instagram, she said that her children are the only reason to overcome the deadly disease, cancer. She had said that her daughter is expecting a baby and she is due in the first week of June 2019. She has to get better by then to welcome her grandchildren. Despite suffering from stage 3 cancer, Nafisa Ali went to Goa to ring in the New Year along with her family.

In a picturesque location, she sang, danced and posed for several beautiful pictures in Goa. She did not leave any stone unturned to appreciate the beauty of the state. She posted many pictures and assured her fans that she is doing well.

On the professional front, Nafisa was last seen Sanjay Dutt’s ‘Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3′. She is married to Col R.S. Sodhi and has three children named Armana, Pia and Ajit. Nafisa has worked in movies such ‘Junoon’, ‘Major Saab’, ‘Bewafaa’, ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana’, ‘Life in a Metro’ and ‘Guzaarish’.
