Wish you both have a beautiful child: Nagarjuna blesses Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor at Brahmastra event

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor starrer Brahmastra is all set to arrive in theatres on September 9. Ahead of its release, the makers of the film held a pre release event in Hyderabad on September 2. Jr NTR was the chief guest of the mega event. Also present were SS Rajamouli, Nagarjuna, Mouni Roy and Karan Johar among others. At the event, Nagarjuna gave blessings to parents-to-be Alia and Ranbir. He wished them to have a ‘beautiful child’.

While talking about Alia and Ranbir, Nagarjuna said, “What do I say to these two people? I have seen them since their childhood. They have been my colleagues in this film. We crossed the borders of age and became friends. It was wonderful knowing them.”

The Bangarraju actor further said, “They are one of the most incredible talents in this country right now, it’s incredible that they both got attracted to each other. From all the Telugu people, from all the people on this stage, from everybody I know, we wish you both have a beautiful child and who’s going to be bigger than both of you together”. Both Ranbir and Alia blushed.

Alia and Ranbir tied the knot in April and after two months, they announced their pregnancy with an adorable post.

Coming back to Brahmastra, it is releasing worldwide on 8000 screens. Director Ayan Mukerji is still busy with the film as there is some work left and that’s the reason he gave the event a miss yesterday. The film is a ‘labour of love’ of Ayan as said by Karan Johar.

We are now eagerly waiting for Ayan’s vision and his astraverse universe in theatres on September 9. Brahmastra also stars megastar Amitabh Bachchan.
