EXCLUSIVE: Nagarjuna calls Tabu his most favourite co-star, watch video

Nagarjuna Akkineni aka Nagarjuna is one of the most sought-after actors down South. Earlier, he had also appeared in many Bollywood films like Khuda Gawah, Drohi, Criminal, Zakhm, LOC Kargil, among others. The actor is all set to make his comeback in Bollywood with Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra. Recently, we caught up with Nagarjuna and his son Naga Chaitanya for a super fun game segment. The father-son duo played a hilarious round of How Well Do You Know Each Other. From revealing their favourite actors and co-stars to talking about their food obsession, they revealed it all. While Chay said Katrina Kaif is his favourite, Nagarjuna called Tabu his most favourite co-star.

When asked about one heroine Nagarjuna would look best with, he wrote Tabu’s name on the slate and Chay also wrote the same. For the unversed, Nagarjuna and Tabu share a great equation with each other.

Nagarjuna and Tabu appeared together in many South movies. They were first seen together in the 1996 film Ninne Pelladatha. The chemistry was just too good and the movie became a classic hit. Directed by Krishna Vamsi, the film won National Award for Best Feature Film and also Filmfare Award for Best Film.

Nagarjuna and Tabu were rumoured to be dating each other. The Criminal actor once spoke about her and had revealed that Tabu will always remain his ‘beautiful friend’. He told Times Of India, he said, “Tabu is a fantastic friend of mine. our friendship goes way back, since I was 21 or 22 and she was just 16 years old. That’s like almost half a lifetime… About our friendship, whatever is said is less. I have nothing to hide about her. When you mention her name, my face lights up… (laughs). it is as simple as that. Now, when I say things like that, if you want to read into it, then it’s your point of view… To me, she is a beautiful person, and a beautiful friend. She always will be.”
