Nakuul Mehta bags lead role in Karan Johar’s Daring Partners co-starring Diana Penty and Tamannaah Bhatia

Much-anticipated ‘Daring Partners,’ featuring Tamannaah Bhatia, Diana Penty, and Jaaved Jaaferi, is set to be an adventure. Adding to the excitement, popular TV actor Nakuul Mehta has been cast as the male lead opposite Diana. While Nakuul Mehta gained fame through TV with notable shows like ‘Ishqbaaaz’ and ‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hain,’ Daring Partners marks his latest foray into the realm of OTT platforms. The series will be directed by Archit Kumar and Nishant Naik. This Tamannaah Bhatia, Nakuul Mehta and Diana Penty will be produced by Dharmatic Production of KJo.

According to a report by India Today, Nakuul Mehta is slated to commence shooting in May for his pivotal role. Tamannaah Bhatia, Diana Penty and Prime Video had together announced the project in March with a picture of the team. The caption read, “Two best friends embark on a daring journey as partners in an alcohol start-up. The series unfolds their audacious journey, where they challenge norms, bend rules and ‘craft’ their destiny within a male-dominated industry.”

Sharing about the project, Tamannaah said, “[The series] is so beautifully written. [The characters] are such deliciously meaty parts to play,” as quoted by Bollywood Hungama. She added that the show is about two strong, fierce women in power, “who’re going to be fun to watch.”

On the professional front, Tamannaah will be working on Odela 2, Vedaa and Aranmanai 4. Meanwhile, Diana Penty, last seen in ‘Selfiee,’ continues to captivate audiences with her diverse roles. Fans eagerly await the unfolding of this captivating tale of friendship, ambition, and empowerment in the world of business.
