‘Namaste England’: Parineeti and Arjun shoot across the continent for ‘Tu Meri Main Tera’

Vipul Amrutlal Shah gave us one of his most memorable film ‘Namastey London’, a romance-drama starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif. Now the director is all set to treat the audience with rom-com ‘Namaste England’ starring Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra in the lead.

For this rom-com, Arjun and Parineeti will be shooting across continents for the song ‘Tu Meri Main Tera’ which is composed by Manan Shah and penned by Javed Akhtar. Sharing the first still from the song, the makers wrote, “@arjunkapoor and @parineetichopra go around the world in 11 days for shooting #TuMeriMainTerafrom #NamasteEngland! ”

Giving out more details about the song, director Vipul Shah told Mumbai Mirror, “The song is an integral part of the film where we show Arjun and Parineeti’s characters travelling from Punjab to London. We did a lot of research and created an interesting route to reach our destination. We started the journey in Punjab, and travelled to Bangladesh border, Dhaka, Brussels, Calais check post in France, and from there to Paris and London. Around 18-20 locations feature in the song. Apparently, ‘Tu Meri Main Tera’ is going to be a travel song which will be choreographed by the director himself and the budget of the song, reportedly, is Rs. 5.5 crores. Also starring Mallika Dua, this rom-com is all set to hit the silver screens on October 19 this year.
