Tanushree Dutta returned to India after a decade and opened up on the sexual harassment incident that happened with her way back in 2008. It was on the sets of the movie ‘Horn Ok Pleassss’ that Tanushree was sexually assaulted when she refused to do an intimate dance number with Nana Patekar. She said that Nana even sent goons to attack her when she was inside her car.
Nana was in Jaisalmer shooting for his upcoming movie ‘Housefull 4’ when he was accused. A couple of days back, he returned from Jaisalmer to Mumbai. At the airport, when he was hounded by media asking him questions on the ongoing matter, the actor dodged all the questions saying, “Mai iska jawab de chuka hoon. Jo jhhooth hai wo jhhooth hi hai.” He also sent a legal notice asking for an apology from Tanushree. Also, he was supposed to address a press conference today to present his side of the story. He was to be joined by choreographer Ganesh Acharya, but the actor cancelled the press meet.
A video has surfaced on the internet in which we see Nana giving a brief statement to the media who was outside his house. Nana addressed them and said, “What should I say? I said 10 years ago. The truth which was 10 years ago, remains the same today and will continue to be tomorrow as well.” He further said that his lawyer has advised him not to speak on the matter and that’s the reason he kept silent.
Here’s the video.
