Nargis Fakhri, who was last seen on the big screen in ‘Banjo’, will be making her singing debut with an Indo-Canadian single titled ‘Habitaan Vigaad Di’. The song also features singer-composer Parichay and reggae artiste and musician Kardinal Offishall. The actress will be seen as ‘fantasy chick’ in the music video and has crooned the Punjabi chorus.
The song has been shot in Toronto, showcasing the city’s popular 1800-feet high communication’s tower and other amazing locations of the city. A source said, “To give the song an East-meets West flavour, the team brought mainstream Canadian rap-legend Kardinal on-board to record and film with Nargis and Parichay.”
“For the main chorus line, she gave 100 takes because she couldn’t get the Punjabi lyrics right. She made sure to learn the correct pronunciation of every word from Parichay”, added the source.
When it comes to films, Nargis will next be seen in ‘5 Weddings’. (Also Read: Nargis Fakhri rubbishes marriage rumours in style)
