Nargis Fakhri was approached for Playboy magazine’s college edition; Here’s why she rejected it

It’s not easy to break in the film industry. Sometimes you have to compromise with your principles or maybe even trade your soul for climbing the ladders of the success in this glamour world. But not everyone believes in taking the shortcut. There are few people who believe in letting their talent take them places rather than compromising on their self-respect.

‘Rockstar’ actress Nargis Fakhri in a recent interview with an ex-adult star Brittni De La More, revealed some dark secrets of her life. Fakhri went on to share about losing out on several projects just because she refused to sleep with the directors. She even admitted being approached by Playboy magazine for a nude photoshoot. However, she declined the offer despite being offered a huge sum.

In a podcast for eXXXamine, talking about Playboy’s offer, Nargis shared,“When I was modelling, there was this college edition Playboy magazine thing. My agent said they are asking for girls, they have chosen to see you if you would want to do something like that. I was like Playboy is so huge and the money was so much!  But I said no.”

The actress went on to add that she chose to enter Bollywood since there are lesser sex scenes in Hindi movies. “I was very happy to work in Bollywood because they don’t have sex scenes,” said the ‘Rockstar’ actress. Fakhri was happy that she won’t have to get naked in front of the camera.
