Naseeruddin Shah ignores a question on Vinod Khanna’s health

Ever since the news of veteran actor Vinod Khanna being admitted to hospital has made its way on the web, all his fans have been concerned about his health. Especially after a picture of a pale-looking Mr Khanna went viral and reports of him suffering from bladder cancer spread like wildfire. But, the doctors from the hospital released an official statement saying: “Mr. Vinod Khanna was admitted to Sir HN Reliance Foundation hospital on Friday with severe dehydration. He is under the care of our doctors and has responded positively to the treatment and is now stable. His family thanks his well wishers for the good wishes and requests to respect their privacy.

Following this, actor Naseeruddin Shah was recently quizzed on Vinod Khanna’s health at a book launch event. But, Shah categorically ignored the question as he replied, “Relevant questions only” and chose to walk away.

So for those uninitiated, Shah has worked with Khanna in a film called ‘Rihaee’ in 1988 that also featured actress Hema Malini. Shah’s reply on the question could possibly be because there has been no confirmation from the Khanna family on his health.

We wish Mr Khanna a speedy recovery and hope to see him in pink of his health.
