The nine-day festival of Navratri has begun from today. During this festival Goddess, Durga and her various avatar are celebrated. However, owing to the Coronavirus scare, this year it will be a low-key celebration.
Several Bollywood celebs like Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Neetu Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut extended greetings to their fans and followers through their social media posts.
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan shared several shlokas of Goddess Durga. Taking to his Instagram handle he wrote, “आज नवरात्रि के पावन अवसर पर आपको और आपके परिवार को अनेक अनेक शुभकामनाएँ । देवी माँ अपनी कृपा आप सब पर बनायें रखे । आपको सुख, शांति, समृद्धि, स्वास्थ, सफलता, और प्रेम सदा मिलता रहे यही मेरी देवी के चरणो मै प्रार्थना ।। ??????आपका दिन मंगलमय हो ।अपना ख़याल रखिएगा ।।(On the auspicious occasion of Navratri I extend my best wishes to all of you. Veteran actress Neetu Kapoor shared a video clip of ‘Sherawali’ song from son Ranbir Kapoor’s 2011 film ‘Rockstar’. She simply captioned it as, “Jai Mata Di.” In the song, we can see Ranbir performing at a jagarata.
