Nawab Shah tests COVID positive; Pooja Batra calls it ‘heartbreaking’

Actor Nawab Shah has tested positive for Covid-19. On Friday, the actor took to his Instagram handle to share the news. He revealed that he has “mild symptoms” and has isolated himself since he got his Covid test result. He also asked everyone to stay home and safe.

Nawab wrote, “This morning I tested positive for COVID, I have mild symptoms and I have isolated myself since I found out about my possible exposure to the virus. Stay home people and stay safe…#stayhome #staysafe.”

Nawab’s wife Pooja Batra commented on the post as she wrote, “Praying for you to get well soon”. She also shared a post on her Instagram handle on her husband and friends getting infected with the deadly virus. She wrote, “It’s heartbreaking to know so many of my friends and their parents are down with COVid, My husband too tested positive. I pray that everyone who is going through this infections comes out of it without any complications ?. #stayhome #staysafe #vaccinate We need to get rid of this nasty gnarly virus from India, from the world(sic)”.

Talking about the Covid-19 pandemic, the second wave is getting dangerous as cases are rising. India crossed the 3 lakh mark. In this second wave of Covid-19, many celebs like Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar, Kartik Aaryan, Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif and others had contracted the virus. Also, the TV and film shoots are stopped in Maharashtra due to the rise in Covid-19 cases.
