Nawazuddin on ‘Babumoshai Bandookbaaz’: Every actor wishes to do films with good scripts

Today, the trailer of Nawazuddin Siddiqui-starrer ‘Babumoshai Bandookbaaz‘ was unveiled and the man looks damn impressive. The trailer looks high on content and Nawaz as the number one contract killer, Babu packs a punch in the trailer. At the trailer launch event, the actor spoke about getting selective and choosy with his scripts. He said, “Of course, whenever the time comes, every actor wishes to do films with good scripts. I pick a script which makes me feel like I have done good work.”

When asked if he rejects many movies, he quickly added, “I don’t have a stature to reject films. But there are many reasons to reject a film, a character shouldn’t resemble an earlier character that I have played. After ‘Gangs Of Wasseypur’, I got around 200 scripts, if I had signed them then, you wouldn’t get to see me in this film. There comes a time that you have to think and act. ‘Babumoshai Bandookbaaz’ is directed by Kushan Nandy and produced by Kiran Shyam Shroff, Ashmith Kunder, Kushan Nandy. The movie stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Bidita Bag in lead roles and will be releasing on August 25, 2017.
