Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is one of the most hard working and dedicated performers in the industry. The seasoned professional has seen many ups and downs in his career and is a very level headed individual. The ‘Manto’ actor in an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble spoke about a range of issues.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui is promoting his new film ‘Photograph’. This feature film is being directed by Ritesh Batra and also stars ‘Dangal’ star Sanya Malhotra.
Nawaz was asked about his take on choosing projects and whether they will be viable for the box-office and the ‘Raees’ actor bluntly said, “I never think about critics. It is just 1% perception. Critics’ opinion is not everyone’s opinion and I have seen many films where critics have thrashed the film and it has done well. It is just one person’s (talking about critics) opinion. I am not bothered by box-office numbers. It is not my domain. My work is to follow the director’s command and act well.”
Nawazuddin Siddiqui also said that playing grounded and uninteresting characters come naturally to him and also praised Sanya Malhotra.
‘Photograph’ has already received rave reviews worldwide at film festivals. We wish Nawazuddin Siddiqui all the best for his future endeavours.
